Jupiter (Integrated Multimedia Collaboration System)  

Bada Networks' Jupiter is an integrated Multimedia Collaboration System, it is designed for conference rooms or control centers that require one or more large displays.  It also offers capabilities to control cameras in remote locations.

 

The Jupiter system fully supports all functions of the Venus multimedia client software and interoperates with Venus’ programs.   The same intuitive “point & click” and “drag & drop” user interface used to setup collaboration sessions including instant messaging and calendar services.

 

To protect existing investment of customers that have legacy video conferencing equipment, the Jupiter system also functions as a conversion replacement for legacy videoconferencing devices. This would reduce the cost of additional non-IP-based telco lines, and provide traffic convergence onto an IP network.   Existing displays, monitors, cameras, speakers and microphones can be leveraged into Jupiter’s setup.   The only component that needs to be replaced are the old terminal devices.

 

The Jupiter system offers the capability to split shared content and video sessions onto multiple displays to improve visual perception and collaboration efficiency .   It is the most convenient choice for large conference room or control center settings.
