Venus (Multimedia Client Software)  

Bada Networks’ Venus client software suite is composed of utilities, APIs and programs to enable vertical applications for collaborative environments in various market segments.

 

The base programs provide integrated capabilities including video, voice, chat, instant messaging, shared application, common whiteboards, and file transfer.   These capabilities provide a true collaborative environment for multi-user sessions and unleash unprecedented productivity gains and social computing benefits.

 

The Venus client software automatically interacts with Bada Networks' MARS™ (Multimedia Application Routing Server) and Mercury (Provisioning and Management Server) to form a robust, high quality and scalable multimedia communication system.

 

The intuitive “point & click” and “drag & drop” user interface allows the collaborative session participants to quickly and easily set up a collaborative environment for maximum efficiency.   Once the collaborative environment is established, application sharing and other advanced communication features are automatically enabled.

 

The Venus client also provisions for the possibility to extend its capabilities through APIs as well as the Bada Networks Applications Joint-Development-Program.   Currently the Bada Networks Multimedia Client Software runs on Window-based environments for PC or other handheld devices.
